Severino Lezzi and Daniel Real have combined their experience to create the Academia Profesional Pádel, developing their very own training system called the “Seve Method”, a method primarily focused on competition. By training in smaller groups, we ensure that every player feels valued as an equal, bringing out the very best in their game so that they can compete at the highest level..
Player training and development based on three core
principles:
Psychomotor learning
development of various physical skills Focusing on the core technical aspects of the game (strokes).
Cognitive awareness
players are able to recognise different ways of playing, in order to overcome situations that arise when competing.
Social and emotional awareness
it is important to remember that every player is a person first and foremost and in our role as educators, we use this sport to instil positive behaviour.
Our method is based on ensuring that TECHNIQUE is an enabling factor for tactics and strategy.
To implement it, we essentially focus on two very different activities:
Basket drills
we use the basket to correct strokes, either by working on movement and footing or by correcting each swing.
Ball
Drills
we come up with different situations that can arise when competing, covering both the defensive and offensive side of the game.
